A local conference to spread SEH project ideas was organized in India. The main topic was Social Entrepreneurship – stage of development, future and challenges. In the early days, founders of social entrepreneurship made significant changes to societies. However, they did not have much support or recognition. In the past two decades, interest in entrepreneurship increased. More and more groups of people and companies want to be involved in the structure of social entrepreneurship. Nonprofits and non-governmental organizations, foundations, governments and individuals fund and advise social entrepreneurs around the planet. A growing number of colleges and universities are establishing programs focused on educating and training social entrepreneurs. Some of the new methods are geared towards creating long-term changes instead of small-scale effects. During this conference, students showcased their ideas and we encouraged them to seek their goals.
